Україна продовжує плідну співпрацю з Microsoft та вдячна за підтримку, отриману від компанії під час війни з Росією. Команда Microsoft розглядає нові можливості стати «куратором» цифрової індустрії в часи відбудови України. Про це заявив Віцепрем’єр-міністр — Міністр цифрової трансформації України Михайло Федоров під час зустрічі з президентом компанії Бредом Смітом.

«Від Міністерства цифрової трансформації України та Уряду України хочемо висловити свою подяку за допомогу в ці складні часи. Ми вважаємо вас справжніми друзями, які готові підтримати нас не просто на словах. І ваші дії та інвестиції в наші проєкти це доводять. Сподіваємося, ця співпраця продовжиться і в майбутньому», — сказав Федоров.

Цього року Microsoft надав безоплатні хмарні сервіси до кінця 2022 року. Компанія виділила понад 242 мільйони доларів на підтримку України, зокрема 90 мільйонів доларів на гуманітарну допомогу. Також Microsoft стали однією з перших компаній, яка вже на початку березня призупинила всі нові продажі продуктів і послуг у Росії. 

В умовах війни команда Microsoft сприяє документуванню воєнних злочинів рф в Україні. Зокрема, Microsoft співпрацює з ООН щодо обміну інформацією про збитки від війни в Україні. Під час зустрічі домовилися про обмін інформацією в контексті співпраці Microsoft та ООН. 

Своєю чергою Бред Сміт зазначив: «Microsoft підтримував і буде підтримувати Україну далі. Це стосується як клієнтів продуктів та сервісів Microsoft, так і державних агенцій». 

Сторони обговорили проблемні питання, пов'язані з використанням ХВox в Україні, та домовилися працювати над їх розв'язанням. 

Окремо свою повагу Федоров засвідчив українському офісу Microsoft, який спільно з Мінцифрою працювали над створенням хмарної інфраструктури в Україні. Це дозволило запровадити сучасні рішення для автоматизації робочих місць держслужбовців та сервісів Дії.

Ukraine continues its fruitful cooperation with Microsoft and is grateful for the support has provided during the war with Russia. Microsoft team will explore new ways to become "curator" of the digital industry during the post-war recovery of Ukraine. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov during a meeting with the company's President Brad Smith.

“On behalf of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Government of Ukraine, we would like to express our gratitude for the assistance in these difficult times. We consider you as true friends, who are ready to support us not just in words. Your actions and investments in our projects prove it. We hope this cooperation will continue in the future,” Fedorov said.

This year, Microsoft has provided free cloud services until the end of 2022. The company has allocated more than $242 million to support Ukraine including $90 million in humanitarian assistance. Also, Microsoft was one of the first companies to suspend all new sales of products and services in Russia in early March.

During the war, Microsoft’s team  has also contributed to documenting Russian war crimes in Ukraine. More specifically, Microsoft cooperates with the UN for the exchange of information on the damage from the war in Ukraine. During the meeting, we agreed on the exchange of information in the context of cooperation between Microsoft and the UN.

In turn, Brad Smith noted: “Microsoft has supported and will continue to support Ukraine. This applies to both customers of Microsoft products and services and government agencies”.

The two sides discussed around the various problems concerning XBox usage in Ukraine and agreed to work on solving them.

Separately, Fedorov expressed his respect to the Ukrainian office of Microsoft, which, jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has worked on creating a cloud infrastructure in Ukraine. This allowed the introduction modern workplace solutions for government employees and officials and the upgrade of the government’s citizens platform (Diia) services.
